Application Guide
Documents to Prepare Before Applying for Overseas Work
Organize the identity, experience, training, and travel documents employers commonly request.
Having clear and current documents ready makes applications faster and helps recruiters assess your experience accurately.
Identity and travel documents
Check that your passport and national identity information are accurate and valid. Store readable scans securely, and name each file clearly so it is easy to find.
Education and skills certificates
Collect academic records, trade certificates, licences, safety training, and language qualifications relevant to your target role.
Proof of work experience
Experience letters should show your employer, job title, dates, and main duties. Keep contact details for former supervisors who have agreed to act as references.
Create a secure document set
Maintain one private master folder and a separate application folder containing only the documents a recruiter needs. Review expiry dates every month while job searching.
